The Highline Heritage Museum is located on the southwest corner of Ambaum Boulevard SW and SW 152nd Street in Burien.  It is easy to reach by automobile or by bus.

When driving to Burien from the north, take I-5 or State Route 509 from downtown Seattle. From 509, leave the freeway at the 148th Street exit and drive west to Ambaum Boulevard SW (@ 9 blocks). Turn left and go 4 blocks.  The museum will be ahead of you on your right.  If driving from Seattle on I-5, take the Route 518 or SeaTac Airport Exit from I-5.  Bypass the airport exits, continuing on 518 to Burien.  Continue through the lights at the end of 518 to Ambaum Boulevard (@ 9 blocks) and turn left.  The museum is 4 blocks ahead of you on your right.

When driving to Burien from the south, take either I-5 or Highway 99.  Take the 188th Street exit from I-5 (or turn left onto 188th street from Hwy 99) and go west to State Route 509. Move onto SR 509 and take it to 148th Street.  Get off at 148th and go west to Ambaum Boulevard (@ 10 blocks). Turn left and go 4 blocks to 152nd street. The museum is ahead of you on the right.

From the Burien Transit Center take the 631 shuttle and get off in front of the building at the intersection of SW 152nd Street and Ambaum Blvd. SW. If the shuttle isn’t operating, walk two blocks south and four blocks west from the Transit Center to reach the museum.
